Double barreled handgun folds up to look like a smartphone

Created by a Minnesota company called Ideal Conceal, the first product created by the startup is a handgun that can be disguised as a smartphone inside a case. Built into a single frame, the grip of the double barreled, .380 caliber pistol folds down and locks into place when opened. When closed, the trigger and trigger guard are completed covered by the grip, thus offering up the appearance of a standard smartphone case. A tube, with rifling twists in it, down which the bullet is driven, when the gun is fired. At the rear of the barrel, there is the cartridge chamber, where the cartridge is loaded. In the M-1911, the cartridge headspaces by the cartridge rim. The lower part of the entrance of the chamber is throated, in order to facilitate the entrance of the cartridge. This is an area that usually needs some polishing, when customizing the gun, or when a new gun is treated for reliability. The bolt can be locked in the rear position by the operating handle. The main safety is of protected push bolt type disconnecting the trigger bar and interlocking the hammer and sear. By rotating the barrel upwards and back, the SUB-2000 can be reduced to a size of 16″ x 7″ to facilitate secure storage and utilize the internal deployment lock which is operated by a proprietary key. The rear sight is of aperture type and the fluorescent front sight can be adjusted for windage and elevation. The SUB-2000 can easily be disassembled for cleaning or inspection without tools.

 The 9mm SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK17, GLK19, S&W59, BERETTA92,  SIG226.

 The .40 SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK22, GLK23, BERETTA96, S&W4006, SIG226.
