I was born and raised in Utah. As a young child, I grew up hunting with my father and brothers every year. My love for the outdoors flourished as I spent time every year hunting, camping, fishing, boating, hiking etc. I married my husband when I was 22, and instantly became a mother of 5 young children. Lucky for them, I loved to cook for big groups! We had three more children and by the time I was 26, I was a mother of eight, four boys and four girls. My 2015 ‘Bucket List’ hunt is a Spanish Ibex or an Alaskan Brown Bear!! Both are beautiful animals and challenging hunts!! What’s your bucket list hunt for this year??

The record brown bear in this photo was taken by a 9 year old girl on the Alaskan Peninsula back in October 2006. Skull size – 33 1/16, 11 feet 9 inches nose to tail, estimated weight – 1,800 pounds. Whoa!!!!
